Avoid Getting Caught Christian Debt Counseling Services Traps

Many people assume the Christian debt counseling services provide free or low cost service are more fair & legitimate than another debt relief service just because they have the word Christian them.

Unfortunately this is frequently not the case. In fact many companies that have set out to scam consumers & take advantage their vulnerability strategically use the word “Christian” their title hopes that you will make just such an assumption. They prey on your faith & your desperate financial situation & their sole intent is to squeeze as much money out you as possible.

Some these companies will promise to get creditors to waive fees & reduce interest rates after you pay them substantial fee upfront. Then many will fail to even contact your creditors & instead will set up phony debt management plan taking the money you deposit each month for themselves rather than paying your creditors with it. This practice has the devastating effect increasing your debt & damaging your credit score.

Because any body can promise anything there are few good way to protect yourself when you are looking for good debt settlement company. First I would get references as many as you can. If you know someone who has successfully negotiated their debt find out who they used. Second look the companies up the Better Business Bureau. Third once you do hire company understand that you are still ultimately responsible for your debt & nobody is going to work as hard as you to fix you. Do not pay large sums money up front don”t sign any long term contracts with them & don”t give them electronic access to your bank account so you can quit quickly & easily if they are one those bad companies.

Knowing what to avoid & how to search for good company will give you the leg up that you need to really find good company for your debt counseling needs.

Shop Grocery Store Sales To Plan Your Family Meals

I don”t have to turn on the news to see how bad the economy is; I just need to check my wallet. There isn”t an area my family”s life that hasn”t been scrutinized & squeezed for every cent we can save. One the first places most people look to save money is the grocery store. I normally swear by weekly menu & grocery list but these are different times. Maybe what I want to cook isn”t what I ought to cook. Maybe I should let the sales do the talking.

When you walk into the grocery store you”ll notice remarkable thing. You can”t turn down any aisle without walking into “Buy-One-Get-One-Free” sign “Price Cut” sign or “Reduced Items” sign. I started to think what if I only chose items on sale? Could I make dinner with just those ingredients?

It may take some time before you feel comfortable restricting your meals so dramatically. But you know the kinds foods you & your family like. Also be aware that your best sale days are most likely on the weekend. I”ve been grocery store that didn”t have any sales on Thursday but they were practically giving the store away on Friday.

You will need little strategy when you walk into the grocery store. Plan to shop the exterior aisles the store first as that”s where most stores display the “main ingredients”; vegetables meat fish poultry cheese & dairy. Fill your cart first with these items only the ones you find on sale & you will see your meals start to develop. Don”t worry… you”ll find plenty specials all these sections any grocery store.

Now that you”ve gotten your “basic ingredients” it”s time to buzz through the inner aisles. Quickly scan all the sale flags down the aisles decide if your family will eat & grab if sounds good. Don”t spend lot time figuring out what to cook; when you put your items the cart you”ll start to see meals come together before your very eyes. And don”t forget you”ll have some pantry items at home too.

What about coupons? Clipping coupons can be very useful tool saving money when used properly. I can”t see how buying something just because there is coupon saves you money if ends up just taking up space your pantry never to be used. If you use use the coupon. Now if you don”t care much about what dish soap bath soap laundry detergent or paper towels you use then coupons are great way to save money. If you buy brand soap because you can save few cents & you use then that”s smart shopping.

Now you”re home & the challenge really begins. Start by sorting your groceries into categories like protein vegetables dairy & canned goods or whatever makes sense to you. Look your cupboards to see if you have any rice potatoes or pasta too. Now you can see menu start to develop. If you review each pile you should be able to pull an item out & mix & match until you”re looking at what appears to be meal See… you are creative after all

Shopping several times month using “sales items only” strategy will begin to pay very quickly. Watch your grocery bill shrink while you create unique menus that have your family asking why you never thought this meal before. You may even find out that you can really cook I challenge you to give this strategy chance & see if you can”t trim your grocery budget & cook creatively the process.

Now it”s up to you; here are some great tips on saving on food & some food budget guidelines. By implementing few these tips you can start saving money this week.

You don’t need to go out & buy all new furniture or a new bed to get a new theme into a room. Following are some great tips that will help you accomplish cheaper decorating.

Modern decor is all about a minimal look. A room that you want to place the modern look in doesn’t need to have tons of things in it. You need plain things that can look good but not have too many accessories. Something that is very geometric in style. Accomplish this in the bedroom by making a new headboard. You can use Styrofoam & cut out shapes like triangles & stars than clue them to the headboard. Don’t forget to paint them before you place them up though. You can also add a nice fabric to the headboard that is modern looking.

Another designer look that can be achieved inexpensively is that of your linens & accessories. Revive old linens like curtains comforters & sheets with a box of fabric dye & some fabric paint. Be sure to follow all of the instructions when dying your pieces & save any washing instructions for later. These kinds of dyes can occasionally be temperamental & you do not want to waste your hard work by ruining your project. Create other furnishings by renewing old furnishings with paint contact paper & other craft supplies.

There are other ways you can change things painting a picture frame will change the look of it completely or changing up the pictures that are on your wall. But the two easiest ways that you can change the look of a room are through throw pillows & area rugs. If you already have made your own throw pillows lets’ move on to the area rug. You can even recycle your old ones for the next step.

If you have no material that you want to make pillows out of but some that is on sale. They have some different textures that are very nice & would make some fantastic throw pillows to add to your sofa. Decorating Using A Budget

The economy is not good at present & this means that most people will have a hard time doing projects. You may find that you want to redecorate your home but you’re not sure that you can afford it. But there are many ways in which you can save enough money up to change the look of your home. Do this by taking less vacations or packing your lunch to eat at work.

A great way to save money is to pack your lunch & not take as many vacations. But you can also save when choosing what sort of style you are hoping to decorate your home in. You should make sure that when you create a new look that you keep a nice balance of harmony. Make sure you aren’t mixing up styles but maybe expanding on one style with a different look. You don’t have to find stuff that costs the same amount but don’t mix country with modern it wouldn’t look right & you would have a room that is out of balance.

If you have a few items that are expensive you should try & keep them together in your room. It’s just natural that if you place those less expensive items with the more expensive ones it may make the expensive items look cheaper. But you can be amazed at what you may find at the flea market or garage sales. You know the old saying “Another person’s junk is another’s treasure”. Check these places out for some great buys. And even if you find some good buy for a small amount it doesn’t mean that it will look cheap.

As we all know rules can be broken. This applies to home decorating as well. Inexpensive items can be paired with expensive items if fashioned correctly. Firstly expensive & inexpensive can co-exist if there are simple lines. Since simple lines naturally appear luxurious all items will be elevated to that level. Another way is to invoke a spirit of funkiness. The “gypsy” look is to combine a great piece of modern furniture with an antique vase. The contrast is stunning

You need to simply be careful when you shop for your new decor. Don’t go to those expensive shops; look for the sales & closeouts. Go to a discount store flea market estate sales are another great place to look. With all these places to look you can find some really great bargains. You need to just have an idea of what colors you are looking for & what style you are wanting to change your decor too. Don’t buy an item if you’re not going to use it in your home that is just a waste of money.

Budget home decorating can be achieved by purchasing area rugs. Area rugs can add color to a room’s decor. They are available in so many patterns from stripes to color blocks to graphics. Area rugs also can add texture to a living space. Cotton wool bamboo jute sisal synthetic are among the texture choices available to suit one’s individual needs.

You will need to make sure that you get the correct size of rug though don’t buy one that is way too large. Or in the same instance one that is too small it will take away from look you are hoping to achieve.

The economy isn’t the best & it’s hard for people to spend money on a project. But if you go about the steps the right way you will see that you can decorate & not spend much money.

Keep up to date with budget home decorating trends & enhance your home with these bedroom decorating ideas.

Credit Card Rewards

Many people view mastercards as a technique to get yourself in difficulty. Indeed it can be comparatively simple to find yourself beneath tons of bills that you simply can’t hope to reimburse shortly & ask why you permitted a chunk of plastic to lure you into bondage for the rest of your life. However credit cards do not need to be bad. Sure the firms need you to charge them up carry a balance & pay interest for a good long time so they can make cash off you. They’ve put together some rather good selling techniques to lure you into doing precisely that too. However if you understand the game you may use those methodologies to your advantage & even make cash by spending money you would have spent anyway…without spending any on interest.

The way to make a Visa card work for you is to go looking for a card with an amazing rewards program. This could be an individual choice & will vary with each individual. Do a little analysis as there are countless sorts of rewards programs. Some will give you refunds on travel. Others will give you discounts at certain stores & others still will even give you money rewards. Money is maybe the best kind of reward system but again it relies on what you’re on the lookout for.

Be sure you thoroughly research the reward system & ensure you understand it. You do not want to be surprised after you thought you amassed some rewards & find out you do not get as many as you presumed. Then you will have to do your research all over again & find another card to use. So find out the way in which the rewards are redeemed & also compare the other facts of the card. APR might not be a big thing if you aren’t going to hold a balance but annual fees could be a trouble that you might be ready to avoid with an a different card. Also be sure to find out if your rewards will lapse. There are some cards that offer rewards systems that don’t expire & those are likely the most effective way to go.

When you have found the card with the best rewards system begin to use it on your ordinary purchases. Don’t go hog wild & charge it on things you would not buy anyhow. The rewards are not that good they will not justify the interest & expense you will pay for running up your credit card & keeping a balance you are unable to pay off. Also if you are not able to pay the balance off you’re losing occasions to charge more on the card & earn more rewards. Rewards are usually given at the time of charging so the simplest way to earn them is by paying the card off every month. You can use the credit card for all your monthly expenses & then pay them off in one one-off sum at the end of the month. This will free your card up for the month after next & will allow you the maximum opportunity to earn rewards.

So when looking out for a Mastercard be sure to find one with masses of great benefits. Then don’t fall into the trap they are attempting to set of overcharging. Just charge enough that you know you can pay off at the end of the month. This can enable you to take the rewards they are giving out for free & also have the protection of buying things on a card rather than using money. You won’t be paying any more cash than you are now but you will be earning rewards. Sounds like a great deal to me
